Oh No! Back to Level 2 - arrangements for regular bridge sessions

So, from 11.59 pm, Sunday, 14 February 2021, the Government announced that Level 2 restrictions will be reinstated across the country (excluding Auckland). The situation will last at least the next few days and will be reviewed daily.
The Club will continue to operate our scheduled sessions but under the Level 2 restrictions that, unfortunately, we are all familiar with:
· Any sign of a respiratory infection stay at home. Members will be asked to return home and not play if displaying any respiratory symptoms (Directors and Room Reps have been asked to enforce this).
· Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands
· Wearing masks at the table is OBLIGATORY – if possible, members should supply their own but we do have a supply available at the Club - we will need to charge $1 each to cover our cost
· The tablet will be handled by south only
· Hand sanitiser will be available in copious supply – you will be required to use it every time you leave or sit at a table
· The kitchen and bar area will be closed – members to bring their own drinks. Do not go into the kitchen to help yourselves
· The Club Rooms will be cleaned between each playing session
We firmly believe that these measures will ensure that we minimise the risk to our members, keeping ourselves and each other safe, AND comply with the requirements from the Government for operating a business under Level 2.
But also, each of you, our members, must make your own decision about your participation at the Club under Level 2. You must make the decision that suits you – even if it means letting down your partner – our session hosts will continue with their “find a partner” service so please, make the right decision for you.
